This young pup was abandoned in the street, starving, filled with fleas. I asked the owner, who arrived as we were leaving, suggested that we leave the dog with him, since it's his dog. He promised to take better care of him. Animal Paradise comes across animals like these who owners do not want to give away, but cannot provide appropriate shelter and food for them. We are working our best to get these animals to the right facility for treatment before they pass. Unfortunately, we see this happen quite too often.
