BECOME VOLUNTEER

There are lots of ways to help. If you are unable to foster but would still love to be a part of the rescue, we are always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with: home visits, screening applications, help with special events like our meet-and-greets and more.

Every month we save dozens of wonderful dogs from local and Southern kill shelters and find placement for them in safe, nurturing homes. Please consider joining us in this incredibly rewarding effort; we would love to have you on the team.

Become a Superhero – Foster One of Our Rescued Dogs

Fostering or fostering-to-adopt one of our adorable pooches gives them a second chance to be the devoted companion they were always meant to be. Our doggie foster parents are truly superheroes in the eyes of each rescue they take in.

We are always accepting foster applications for people interested in improving quality of life for shelter dogs. In fact, we rely on foster volunteers to help our organization succeed. Whether you wish to foster or adopt one of our rescued paws, you must complete our application below.

If we determine you are a good candidate, we then assess your home to ensure the environment is properly equipped and safe for the specific dog you choose to foster. During the foster period, the dog will be evaluated for any behavioral concerns that may need corrected.

If you would like to adopt your foster, you must complete our 30-day foster-to-adopt program. Throughout this trial period, we will make sure that the match is a perfect fit, as well as provide no-cost behavioral modification training. This thorough process helps to safeguard against a failed adoption. We want to see a success story for you and your new best friend, and we will do everything within our power to make that possible.

FOSTERING

As a shelterless rescue, we rely heavily on the generosity of people who are willing to open their homes and hearts to our dogs until they are adopted. As a foster home, your job is to love, care for, and feed a homeless or abandoned dog until she finds her own forever family.

HOME VISITS

A home visit is required for all our adopters. As a home visitor, your role is to be our eyes and ears and make sure the home would provide a safe, loving environment for one of our dogs. A form is provided to you prior to each visit, so you know exactly what to look for and ask.

Be a volunteer and live a great experience...
